I married my lovely wife BJ in 2007; she is awesome. We have an exceptionally smart daughter. I am blessed to have a wonderful family.

This begins my 1st year as principal of Susan Moore Elementary. I was assistant principal for six years. I’ve been an educator in Blount County for 16 years.

I love being at Susan Moore Elementary School. The students and teachers make our school the best place to work. My goal is to positively influence students to have a better day, make better choices, and help them believe they can achieve fantastic life dreams.

This will be the best year ever…

I have an Educational Specialist Degree and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Alabama; my Master’s Degree in Elementary Education is from Jacksonville State University. I graduated from Susan Moore High School in 1983.
