Mrs. Jennifer Priest

My name is Jennifer Priest and I am the STEAM/STEM teacher for SMES and SMHS. I graduated from Jacksonville State University with a MA in Education and have just recently completed my course work to become National Board Certified. This year will mark my fourteenth year in education. In 2016, I was chosen as the Elementary Science Teacher of the Year by the Alabama Science Teacher's Association.  I've had to privileged of teaching STEM lessons to kindergarten through 6th grade students for the past 3 years. This year I will be teaching Smart Lab lesson for students in 5th-8th grade, as well as STEM lessons for 2nd-4th grades. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for almost 23 years. We have two awesome children, Evan (17) and Rylee (16).
